As both an artist and art educator, I am passionate about sharing the transformative power of creativity with my community.
I am Shanoa Gardiner, an encaustic artist specializing in the ancient art of painting with pigmented molten wax. My creative process is deeply personal, blending emotion, energy, and texture to create artworks that resonate with viewers on a soulful level.
Beyond my artwork, I am dedicated to teaching art classes in Heber, Utah, where I help students of all ages discover their own artistic voices. Since transitioning to a full-time career as a professional artist and art teacher, I’ve been honored with recognition for my work, including a first-place award at the 2023 international encaustic show “Flow” in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My artworks are also featured in private collections, commercial murals, and the prestigious Fulton Library permanent collection.
When I’m not in my studio or teaching, I find inspiration in nature and the serene landscapes of Utah’s mountains and deserts. My passion for exploring art museums and the works of masters like Paul Klee and Egon Schiele influences my teaching and personal art style.
I also love connecting with my community in Heber City through art workshops, paint nights, and custom events. From hosting holiday-themed art activities to offering team-building sessions and private classes, I strive to make art accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
