Recently, students from Art Alchemy showcased the true spirit of community by volunteering their talents to support a heartwarming event for Snowball Express. The send off organized by American Airlines in partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation, is dedicated to providing joy and comfort to military families who have endured the loss of a loved one in active duty.
Snowball Express offers an unforgettable experience for these families, flying them on 10 to 13 specially chartered aircraft to the magical destination of Disney World. Along the way, these families are given the opportunity to create new memories, bond, and heal in an environment filled with love and support.
Art Alchemy students used their artistic skills and creative energy, the students designed and painted circus-themed backdrops and signs to transform the departure space into a festive and uplifting send off. Their work not only added a touch of whimsy but also demonstrated heartfelt gratitude and respect for the sacrifices made by these families.
This volunteer effort was more than just an artistic project—it was an opportunity for the students to give back in their community of Heber City while extending their kindness to families throughout Utah. Their contributions helped set the stage for a journey filled with hope, joy, and healing for these deserving families.
